Where was PLM Hotel Jean Bart?

Hi. Where was the 1980s hotel PLM Jean Bart located? I can’t find any information on it. I’m very curious and hope someone knows! Thanks in advance.

The PLM was up behind the Villa Creole shops in St Jean. I had a friend who stayed there once, but didn’t love it. He moved to one of the rooms at Autour de Rocher. It is now either condos or apartments, I don’t know which. I went to the nightclub there once, but at 21:30 it was a ghost town, so I didn’t stay. I don’t remember that specific night from the 80’s, but I likely moved to Autour too.

Thank you!!! So it wasn’t a beachfront hotel. And I guess the structure is not still standing? Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley met there. I would have assumed it would have been on the beach.

The structure is still there as far as I know, but it has been modified and repurposed.
