People definitely dressed up at night at the restaurants we went to in the Port area (which is most of them), however. You might consider having a pair of dress pants with you, and bring your linen shirts (if you have long sleeved ones, just roll up the sleeves a bit..très chic!..as they are perfect with shorts or pants.). One of our favorite places was an outdoor dinner nightclub with a Vegas type singing/dancing show on a runway ( there are tables indoors but much better to be outside) and you can dress up there; it is called Opéra. It’s a pretty famous place for fun. There is an earlier and a later seating and you should check it out online; it is kind of an “artsy” thing. (And right near there is a lovely small art museum you should take a bit of time to explore.). Be sure to get reservations at the good restaurants with your concierge ahead of time. If you want more suggestions, please PM me and bon voyage!Headed to Saint-Tropez prior to our SBH trip this May. Le Café (and Le Girelier) are on my list, so glad to hear it appears closer to my expectations than the SBH outpost. At the least I can avoid packing the long pants!
Obviously nothing like the original in St-Tropez for sure; a very different crowd at the St-Tropez version. This place is for the party vacationers who visit St Barth.... the late night crowds and nightclubbers...
