Brûlerie on Saint-Barth?

I have seen a website that talks about a coffee place on Saint-Barth called Le Café de Saint Barth near Saline but have not heard anyone mention it. I love coffee almost as much as croissants (ok, I have to do décaf, mostly) and I am wondering if anyone has been over there, or has purchased coffee from them? I was not sure they actually were in business, but I sure would support them if so. It said some of the distributeurs included Le Guanahani, so I will inquire if they use their coffee at breakfast; it is good coffee as both an espresso (make mine a double) and in a French press pot.

Any info would be welcome!

. . . also would like to know about it!

I got this back today from the very lovely people at Le Café de Saint Barth:
Bonjour,

Cordialement
L’équipe du café de Saint barth.

Mostly it says that it is, in fact, the coffee we get at Le Guanahani and you can order on their internet site and they will deliver it to us (guessing they mean on Saint-Barth and not California 😊 ), and you can buy it also at Super U, Oasis, Le Rendez Vous, and at L'Épicerie du goût, and they have it their drinks at Boulangerie Choisy and Oasis. I will be looking for it but they never gave me the address of their Café over in Saline somewhere. Not sure if they have visitors or it is just their wholesale place. It was nice to hear from them and seem to be doing well!

That coffee is very good, but it is pricey. We buy it when we have guests coming, otherwise it's the cheap stuff for us!

🙏🙏🙏♥️Thanks to you and Ellen for your valuable input and generous photos, Ellen! My personal “pêché mignon” is my favorite decaf, Bonne Nuit by Grand‘mère (blue package) which I buy as much as possible when I am in France. I hope to find some on the island but did not, last time. 🤞🤞for this time😁.. I always have to explain to the very good natured check out people at Marché U that I bring it back for the year🤪😂! (I can drink regular as well but not as much as the caffeine demon stops me after one cup, so maybe I will just get one bag to take home). I have had good coffee every day at Le Guanahani, so I will ask what they use. I am kind of partial to African origin beans but since Brésil is darker roast, I will get one of those.

(Secret: My favorite decaf coffees have a portion of Robusta beans mixed in for body, so although people say that 100% Arabica is the best, I am partial to those with Robusta, too.)😋😋😋😍
