The 39th St. Barth Music Festival opened at the Catholic church in Gustavia on Friday, Jan. 6th. Featured were the trio of Gil Shaham (violin - and considered the best in the world), Inon-Barnatan Borggreve (piano) and Kyril Zlotnikov (cello). And it was the founder Frances DeBroff's 85th birthday! The trio started with an extremely special rendition of Happy Birthday. The festival goes through Jan. 15th and more info can be found at stbarthmusicfestival.org. Here are a few photo from Friday. The first one is of the tuner getting the piano keys dry for the concert.

Oh, how I would have loved to been in attendance to take in such beautiful music, and in such a special place. Just divine!
Thanks for sharing these photos.

I bet that was a special event and moment, by chance honoring the birthday of Maryvonne Mignot (Bijoux de la mer)?

Thanks for sharing, Ed.
