Yesterday, we went out for breakfast to Petite Colombe in Lorient. Actually, we were heading to Choisy in St Jean cfor a change of pace switch to blueberry muffins. But serendipitously,as so often occurs here, there was a parking space right in front of PC, so we took that as a sign to pull in at once.
I was impressed with the sleek new showcases and decor. And oh so many gorgeous sandwiches, and pastries, and breads. But what to my wandering eyes should appear, nestled up to an almond croissant quite so near? But a crispy looking croissant, with crushed and halved filberts, hazel nuts, atop! Further examination showed a strand of Nutella to be inside and drizzled on top. I caved. With hot and fresh cappuccino this was my new breakfast of champions.
My new mission is to take a picture so you will easily know what to look for in the showcase. Trust me, TO DIE
