Villa Mon Cheri or Villa Pleasure

What are you looking for in a Villa? I know Mon Cheri . . . it’s very private, all on one floor, lovely gardens, conveniently located to most of the island, & “drop dead gorgeous” views!

We usually stay in Columbier but the villa is booked... our priorities are un-obstructed views, pool and adequate outside furniture.

Mon Cheri checks the boxes. I also find Lurin to be more easily accessible to multiple restaurants & beaches than Colombier.

We are deciding between Mon Cheri in Lurin or Villa Pleasure in Public, any advise really appreciated. Thank you!

We were scheduled to rent Mon Cheri in January, paid our final payment, and a week later we were sent an email stating that there was construction very close and could be jackhammering ect during our stay. We are in the process of trying to pick another villa, of course they are all more expensive. We were told that the moretorium on construction during high season was lifted a few years ago.

Just to clarify something there was never a moratorium on construction during the high season; only during the xmas-New Year holidays; and that still exists - no jackhammers or concrete cutting, ie very noisy machinery, during the holiday period - currently defined as December 20-January 5.
They have also added the same no noise rules for Thanksgiving week and The Bucket Regatta week.
