Villa Anja - Lorient Beach

Hi All - Looking for some advice on staying on Lorient Beach. My wife and I have been to St Barts quite a few times with family and friends, but headed down this time just the two of us for our 30th anniversary. Does anyone know anything about Villa Anja(1 bedroom) as well thoughts on Lorient Beach. Decent breeze in December to keep the mosquitos away? Thanks!

I don't know that particular villa, but I've stayed at Les Mouettes a few times, and villa Les Basses for many Thanksgivings. Both are not far down the beach from where I think that Villa Anja is located. There's always been a breeze there, which helps with the mosquitos, and I use a repellent which contains DEET. Between the two, I never had a problem with mosquitos.

Thanks Kevin - Anja is pretty much across the street from La Petite Colombe Bakery...slightly on the St Jean side. I assumed there's a decent breeze considering there is some surfing but just never have stayed this low.

Anja is just a few doors down then. Les Basses is directly across the street from La Petite Colombe. I would sometimes use one of the security cameras (dubbed the Croissant Cam by another guest) to check the line before venturing across the street. There is indeed surfing, quite a bit at times. I’ve spent hours sitting on the terrace, just watching the surfers and the waves.
