Went to Black Ginger last week with some friends who were visiting, and it occurred to me that this stalwart establishment doesn't get enough love here on the forum.
Everything we had was fresh, flavorful and delicious. Their green curry is some of the best out there and second only to my favorite restaurant in Chicago, Le Colonial. My friends had scallops, fresh fish with pepper, and the crying tiger sliced beef. We also started with the calamari and red curry dumplings - - all were delectable. In fact, out of the many meals we had while they were here, this was definitely one of their favorites. There is a reason Black Ginger has been on the dining scene here for over a decade.
So, give Black Ginger some love next time you are looking for a nice dining experience that isn't trying too hard, and delivers good, solid dishes at a reasonable (for SBH) price point. I hope they stay around for a long time to come!
