Wow ! I would find it difficult to "lose the indignation" in that situation. No slight to our cher ami intended

25 € is really pricing to exclude. I think I'm out . . . though I was never "in" at Nao anyway

. . . because the valet service at Nao is the same as is used at other restaurants, I suspect that the 25€ charge is the same at all of them.

Last year I had a similar situation at Tamarin. .... However, last time we were there last month there was no charge for parking which was refreshing.

That there was no charge last month for Tamarin parking is a big surprise since it is, I believe, in the group of restaurants owned / operated by St. Tropez investors.

We've arrived at a solution that works for us in the face of ever more instances of tip requests even at some of our most favorite restaurants (e.g., Eddy's, La Langouste, Nyama, etc.) We leave a few Euros (<5) when asked. This seems to satisfy all parties and we can leave on a positive note.

Anita and I dined at Nyama yesterday and was not solicited for a tip. Actually, to date, we have not been solicited since we arrived on Sunday for lunch or dinner. Fingers crossed it stays that way!
