It was fun . . . and wasn’t aware that Thursdays are “Pirate Days.” There was an enthusiastic engagement among patrons (a very full house!) & restaurant staff (In costume) . . . smiles & high fives! There also was a DJ . . . unusual for Pearl Beach. The sound was loud (perhaps too loud at times), but innervating

I remember ten years ago when there was a pirate themed store on the island. Charlie liked visiting it…he was 8, now 18!

I remember it … Grand Fond, as I recall. Charlie’s coming into an age where he’ll see new acts of “piracy!”

Is this a seasonal manifestation or year round?

I think it’s a relatively new, year-round concept. . . certainly getting a lot of “play” now.
