A man was involved in a paragliding accident in Saline on Friday afternoon, March 13. The Stis (fire and rescue service), the Smur (emergency medical service), and the gendarmerie responded to the scene to assist the injured man.
 
A 35-year-old man was involved in a paragliding accident on Friday, March 13, around 6 p.m., in Saline. The Territorial Fire and Rescue Service (STIS), the SMUR (Mobile Emergency and Resuscitation Unit), and the gendarmerie responded to the scene. The man is reported to have suffered a broken leg, among other injuries. The STIS called in the civil security helicopter, the Dragon 971, to airlift the victim. The operation was still underway at 8 p.m. About fifteen rescuers (STIS, SMUR, USAR Unit) are participating in the operation.
