new installation in Gustavia

This was installed this week. Anyone know what it is? I'm guessing it's scooter parking?

I don't see a picture, but I am assuming that it is a picture of the removal of the parking spots across from Pati de St Barth is Gustavia? According to the rumor mill, it is first going to be a staging area for materials for the building being built where the old bank used to be - a project that will take over a year and maybe two to complete - then after that it will be scooter parking. The thought is that with more scooter parking, it will free up car spaces in Gustavia.

Yes, le_reve, sorry, but am having tech difficulties here on the island. You are correct, it was the new posts installed across from Pati and the Cantina.
