. . . and what a great, albeit belated, New Year celebration it was! Eighteen friends coming together for no good reason except to share a happy time amongst one another — with well wishes for others who couldn’t be there. A “village,” for sure! And, BTW, Jean Claude hasn’t had a luncheon at L’Esprit since he entertained President Macron in 2018. In my profuse thanks to JC for agreeing to allow me to bring friends together, he kindly said that the group was a lot more fun than the Macron party! I have no doubt about it! Next year . . . let’s make it an even bigger party!

It is so delightful to see all, mostly familiar, faces in such a happy place, smiling. I am sure, Dennis it was a complicated task to get this crowd to come and celebrate with all of their plans and busy schedules. It is in achievement in itself!
