can someone update on the Hurricane forecast for this weekend - it does not look too bad - but first hand on the island knowledge is better than here in the US

your best bet is to do what people on the island do - follow tropical updates on the internet and bulletins from the National Hurricane Center, they have the most updated news... no one here has a crystal ball. but everyone is busy today preparing for a what could be a category 1 hurricane when it hits tomorrow, most activities for the weekend have been cancelled, some stores have closed until Monday, the ferry has reduced its trips and will stop completely when the sea is too rough, as will the airport close when too dangerous to fly.
