formerly known as Sky Bar and most recently Le Refuge with the raclette on the menu - right below Bonito I believe...Not clear of the location.
One of those Japanese Peruvians became Peru's President. Although he ended up not very well.![]()

Was there once a Lebanese or Moroccan restaurant, by chance, or was it in the current Mamo Michelangelo place before Orega? We dined there once and it was very interesting place and food was really authentic. But then it disappeared without the trace.
Thanks Kevin! I think it was Ociela that I am trying recall. Was it Lebanese/Moroccan restaurant? No, neither.
Mamo (and the former Orega) are a block or so down on Rue Samuel Fahlberg, across from Eddie’s. Barry is just before the downhill intersection from Bonito to the main road.
Barry is the last door on the left as you descend down from Bonito (on Rue Lubin Brin) almost to the lowest street level (just before you reach Rue Samuel Fahlberg). Those with older memories may remember it from decades ago as L’Ananas. It’s also been Le Strand and Ociela, and probably others that I don’t recall at the moment.
Thanks, Kevin . . . remembering L’Ananas. The others either were too short lived &/or only open after my bedtime! No, neither.

I did not know Bonito has expertise in Nikkei (Peruvian-Japanese) cuisine, but now you have it.
