For the first time, I'm traveling with my family of 6 and am a bit nervous about flying on SBC, as usual. We would be on the last flight of the day - 4:30. We land at 2:10 and can't make the 3:15 I don't think. Should I just book WinAir - the larger plane with more times? For some reason, flying with 6 feels different than with just 2 and we don't want to get left on St. Maarten for goodness sake!

Have you considered just booking a charter, that way you have the entire plane at your disposal. I have done that in the past when we have 6 or 7 family members. Good part is you also get to have one of your family flies in the co-pilot seat since SBC only has one flight member.

SBC does offer charter services, and you’re already familiar with SBC’s operation. It’s worth an email/phone call to check on availability and pricing.
There are others who provide charter services. Years ago, when I still connected via SXM, I chartered several times for various reasons. If you choose to explore other options then Vincent at Premium IV can assist you.
