If one were staying at one of the ***** hotels on the island and making use of the concierge desk before and during one’s stay, when is/are the appropriate time(s) to tip the concierges ?
And do you imagine the concierge staff pools tips to share evenly ?

Great questions, Cass! Without a lot of experience with Concierge at 5-star SBH hotels, I -- nonetheless -- would speculate (knowing a few of them) that (a) tips are not shared and (b) tips should be delivered when services are requested. (If services exceed expectations -- e.g., particularly good seating in a restaurant . . . or a hard-to-get reservation -- I'd recommend a subsequent supplemental tip.)
