Beach Hotel advice

We stayed near Flamands once and loved being able to walk along the beach, even past Cheval Blanc. Baie des Anges looked quieter and the restaurant there was nice, so it might be worth a try if you like a low-key vibe. On a different trip to Singapore, I stayed at an accor hotels singapore and it made exploring Orchard Road and the Botanic Gardens super easy—sometimes picking a place with good access to what you want to do makes everything smoother.

I stayed at Les Ilets and loved being right on the beach with that relaxed, quiet vibe. Really nice people running it too, and it's close to everything without feeling busy.
What is the current status about walking across the runway on the beach? To me it's uncertain and would like to know the latest.

Looking at Les Elsets, Baie, and Pearl for fall visit....have stayed at Les Ilets...very nice, but on other side of Airport and not great beach...haven't stayed at Baies, but love Flammands and have eaten at Le Langoueste so many times I've forgotten...always seemed like very nice people...Pearl...on my favorite beach in the middle of the action...but might be a little too noisy for me...

Any input is helpful...thank you my SB community...haven't been in 5 years after about 25 annual trips...need to get back...
