Thanks for posting! I heard a lot of skepticism about the place while on the island so was glad to have a good meal there.

Michael, after reading your story, I would love to go there. However, knowing the neighborhood, parking is impossible. I do use taxis at times though, and that would work for me.

There is a valet, the new Rockefeller parking lot is directly across the street, and I used neither. I found a spot just around the corner on a Saturday night. Easier than Eddy’s on a Thursday night!

We stopped by after the Bucket festivities. Beautiful bar! Rob said the Old-Fashioned was one of the best he’s tasted. We didn’t have food but plates we saw come out looked delicious. We just might have to go back and try the food

Dunno. But lots of tables changed 9-ish and music got louder about 9:15.

Bar des Pres took the building formerly occupied by Kinugawa restaurant, next to la librairie bookstore, across the new Fish Market and Rockefeller parking lot in Gustavia.
