Manu seated us under the stars, amidst the trees. Rosina delivered our water and then it rained. No problem- we were whisked to a nice table in the back open room.
Rosina told us they were having about 160 guests tonight and more than that tomorrow, Valentines night. She said over Christmas week, they were doing 240 a night at times.
The Amuse Bouche was a spinach, potato, squash cold soup in a pretty, tiny clay cup.
Our salad was chick peas, beets, squash and spinach which we split.
My bride loved the Gnochetti with crispy shoulder pieces of lamb in a tomato sauce. I enjoyed pappardelle with pecorino, black truffle and fresh grated parmesan. Petale de Rose had a hole in the bottle.
Because of our incredible meal the night before at Jarad, and our delightful experience at Fish Corner for lunch, we passed up both dessert and rum shots. May have been a mistake as now we miss that Tamarin flavor.
We went to bed early for a change after making sure the hermit crabs received their bedtime snacks.
