Once again we have to rave about Case du Roy:
Villa Case du Roy is a hidden gem. In more than 30 visits to St. Barths we have stayed in many villas and several hotels. This is THE BEST equipped and maintained place we have ever stayed. It is a very spacious one-bedroom villa with a large living room, kitchen and a bath and a half (nice feature).
It is centrally located just above the airport in the hills of Anse de Cayes – very convenient to St. Jean and Gustavia. There is a very nice view of Point Milou –
particularly pretty at night …. sitting on the terrace enjoying some music and wine and the view in the distance.
We have been there twice (most recently February 2015) and there has never been a thing we thought we wanted that was not there. The kitchen is fully equipped with lots of pots, pans, bowls, utensils and gadgets. Every amenity you can think of is provided. There are beach chairs, an umbrella, a cooler and even a "noodle".
The villa is fully screened and air-conditioned. There were very few mosquitoes.
There are two outside areas – a front garden completely enclosed with lovely plantings, a hot tub, an eating area and a grill. The back garden is also quite private and gets great sun virtually all day.
The owners, Jocelyne and Rigobert Aubin, are lovely people and their care and concern for their villa and their guests is shown in every aspect.
