Snorkel stops

Yesterday, we returned to Marigot to explore snorkeling along the westside cliff.

We found decent coral formations and a good bit of sea life.

We then went on to St Barts' version of White Bay in Jost van Dyke - Shell beach.

We spent a beautiful afternoon there enjoying the scene.

Sunset at the villa was spectacular.

If it's turtles and rays your seeking, try the east end of petite st jean, and lorient, respectively. No guarantees, but that's our findings. Nothing cooler than swimming around with (tolerant) beautiful and elegant sea turtles for a bit!

Yeah, although remember to stick your head up a bit to look around.
It is really easy to get so fascinated with the turtles you don't realize you've followed them relatively far out.
They are truly awesome to watch, particularly when they sort of glide towards you to check you out.
