Just to clarify my situation: I have a home on St. Barth, and my Starlink equipment is already installed there and working perfectly on a US account with a Roam plan.
However, I need a permanent internet connection, not just temporary roaming. Starlink tells me that I cannot change my US service address to St. Barth and that I would need to transfer the equipment to a new local account.
I’m curious how other American homeowners on St. Barth handle this. Do you maintain a US account and use Roam year-round, or have you switched to a local St. Barth account with a Residential plan?
I’d especially appreciate hearing from anyone who has been using Starlink permanently on the island.
Thank you!
