Pearl Beach — a crowded holiday time

The restaurant was “packed!” I was fortunate to get a small corner table from which to view people . . . those not at the official Collectivitié ceremonies. It was largely a family-oriented crowd, with everyone enjoying the afternoon in his / her own way!

. . . and my special way!

We like very much grilled langouste at Fish Corner at 11€ le 100 grammes 🤓
I suppose that Pearl Beach is in the position of being able to maintain premium pricing because of its beach front real estate & consistently “full house” occupancy. It’s a truism, I’m sure, that prices rise to what the market will bear . . . especially when the product offered is rare / exclusive.

Perhaps. But, I’d probably do Mahi burger at PB and grilled langouste at FC.
YMMV 😎

I know Pearl Beach is very nice but frankly the most expensive grilled lobster on the Island...
Actually I have seen it as high as 20 and 26 euros per 100 grams so Pearl Beach not the most expensive! the funny thing is that in the old days you could apparently walk along the shore of the lagoon in Grand Cul de Sac and simply pick up lobsters and they were mostly used as bait in fish traps - not a high-end luxury item !

La Langouste seems to remain the most reasonable?
