Where’s can I buy distilled water for a CPAP machine?

Bonjour!
After a 15 year gap, my husband & I just arrived for a long awaited return trip to St Barts. Now I carry a CPAP machine around on my travels. Sigh. Not my favorite item.

I haven’t found any distilled water which the machine requires. Does any one know where I can purchase this water? I assume it will be at a pharmacy, since the grocery stores haven’t had it.

Rather than spend our time checking all the pharmacies, if anyone knows where to buy distilled water, I’d appreciate it. Or even the most likely pharmacy to start with!

Merci!

You can get distilled water for a CPAP machine at ALMA in Public... on the left hand side driving into Gustavia...

We now live in Paris and have learned that the French don't use distilled water for their CPAP machines. Instead, they (and now we) use demineralized water (eau demineralisee) which is available in the cleaning section of any supermarche . . . it works perfectly, and is much less expensive than distilled water, which can only be obtained at a pharmacy here.

Thank you everyone for your replies. I’ll check out Alma’s this morning. And now I know to look for “Eau demineralisee” in the cleaning section!

We were in Paris in January, and eventually found a pharmacy that prepared distilled water for me …for a hefty charge (in a huge, lovely glass bottle😎) If I’d thought to look on with the cleaning products it would probably have been there!

On to the fun of choosing our dinner restaurant…

For many years,we have used eau dimineralisee in my husband’s CPAP machine when in SBH and France. It works fine. They have it at the SuperU. We just bought some earlier this week. It located in the section for home cleaning (use it in steam irons, etc).
