what are you eating??

got nothing to do with a list..I think Lena took it home with her thinking it was her cord for her camera...I ve had it all summer..of course she is denying it...so I took the path of least resistance and ordered one on Amazon...

too bad..we got a very close encounter by a huge humpback whale today which I shot but I cant post

Mai-Tai Friday. Oh, we had some Chinese food too. The new Hot and Sour Soup recipe rocked - they added Red Pepper Flakes.

While on the outer beach, watching the seals and fog bank offshore

Brie and bagettte
rose'

corn on the cob
marinated london broil

s'mores

great colors at sunset

Sole Meunière with fish from my favorite market, the Net Result in Vineyard Haven with some Pinot Grigio or other. Tomatoes. Chocolate cake. Tomorrow we head for home, with a stop at Cuttyhunk. That means mussels and oysters. I hope everyone is still enjoying summer.

We sure are, Rosemary. Tomorrow is our family end of summer pool party!-yes the whole clan!

My dinner was fried zucchini flowers stuffed with mozzarella and anchovies over lettuce salad vinaigrette. Then sauteed swordfish with apples, pine nuts and a grand marniere sauce with a side of garden fresh and crisp string beans. YUM!

General Tsaos Chicken at Fortune Cookie Restaurant.....Lena had steamed veggies over rice

I am truly seafooded out......at least for now

this time of year it easily could have been....a month from now they will be 500 miles north of here and then the boats have to go out for a month at a time and ice down the fish for the month....then its not a great time to order the swordfish

I could use 4 days on Cuttyhunk.

Early morning breakfast on the fly...
Pepper and Onion Omelets with Tuesday veggies from the farmstand CSA basket. Veuve Clicquot because there's always a cold bottle in the fridge. Bacon just because Pork Fat is a wonderful thing.

It may not be gourmet, but it sure do taste good!

Still debating Friday/Saturday vs. Saturday/Sunday. Which commute do I want to deal with, Friday night or Monday morning.
