That all looked really good, Mike. We will dine on wood grilled lobster, cooked by someone else, and then go see the Foreverly Brothers.

Tell them Missy said hello, please!!

After an exhausting day of landscaping around our little condo in the 90 degree heat after a Saturday & Sunday of pouring rain and chilly temps, we collapsed into our patio furniture with a couple cold cocktails:

2 oz. Stoli Orange Vodka
1/3 oz. Campari
1/3 oz. St-Germain
½ oz. Lemon Juice
Orange Juice
Top with San Pellegrino Sparkling water

After a couple of these we grilled some oysters and topped them with a sautéed pancetta, onion and parmesan cheese mixture.

Then split a thick-ass grilled tuna steak.

A very nice Vouvray sent us into happy-happy land as we toasted the night 12 years ago when I invited Lisa over from her apartment balcony to mine with the offer of a cold Corona and BBQ ribs.

We’ve never been apart since.

The drinks sound delicious. So do the oysters and tuna, but I like the balcony scene from twelve years ago the best. Very very nice.

Congrats Dennis. A fortuitous Corona indeed.

As to the cocktail, I've found that St Germain is a nice adder to a lot of drinks, from a glass of sauvignon blanc to a G+T. I'm seeing it mentioned more and more.

Lisa has fallen for St Germain big time.

There’s a restaurant that makes an Elder fashion that she loves. I now make them for her at home.

Also this weekend we made:

In a tall rocks glass:

2 oz. Champagne
½ oz St Germain
2 oz. Club Soda

Crisp and refreshing!

Wasn't that interesting? Newport foggy as can be and just up the Bay not a cloud in the sky. We spent Sunday afternoon drinking iced tea in Portsmouth, RI.

according to my sources,PTown was shrouded in fog almost the entire weekend...they only got sunshine a little in the afternoon....we also had quite a bit of fog up here in the mountains

Thanks to the poor hospital valet parking guy who closed my car door on my hand, I am sitting in bed in a complimentary
NYC hotel suite studying the room service menu. I am leaning toward the duck.
