Villa Bonjour

Welcome BB - I'm not familiar with this one, but I'm surprised no one has chimed in ...where did you hear about this villa?? Agency?

I found it online through VRBO but it's on the St. Bart's Properties site also. I'd rather deal directly with the owner to save on fees. Any reccomencations? Unfortunately we have champagne taste on a beer budget :)

I like VRBO a lot too - have used them for US travel. However, since you are short on time, you might get much more accomplished by using SB Properties (or another agency) since they can narrow down availabilities using your criteria very quickly. You could also take a look at the list along the right hand side of this page under St. Bart's Villa Contacts and see if any of our forum owners have something available. Good luck and let us know what you decide on!

I have looked at Bonjour online and have considered it numrous times...it seems fine to me, but I'm not as excited about the views. The Villa is more angled towards the hills. This is the main reason we have passed it up. We enjoy a great bargain too. In sbh it still feels like champagne! But I prefer the help of st Bart's properties every year as they have the personal experience of being in the villas. I recommend you look at Villa Royal Palm. It has everything a villa should have, an amazing view, nice furnishing, stocked kitchen, outdoor speakers, etc. it is a great price and the owner is fantastic. Villa Everest is also a fine deal. Although the villa does not feel as open to the outside as royal palm. We have stayed in both. Royal palm is an all time favorite.

Thanks! I am looking into the Royal Palm now. Looks like it's available :) I will keep you all posted.

We absolutely love Royal Palm as well! Amazing views and nice features many villas don't have like A/C in the living room :) I hope you can get it for your trip BeachBabes!

We've spent several weeks at La Baleine in the last couple of years. I can't imagine you'd be disappointed if that's your choice. The home is really nice and convenient, but the gazebo is one of the most special spots to relax that we've ever experienced on St. Barth. If you rent from Rosita once, you'll probably never again want to rent from anyone else on the island.

P.S. We owned our own home on St. Barth for 14 years, so we've got some experience.

We booked with Rosita for a last minute trip - we can't wait! Sounds wonderful!!!

We have stayed at Baleine for more than 3 weeks each year for the last 5 years. I can't imagine ever staying anywhere else. For us it is like coming home. You will love it.
