Hideaway's 5th birthday

Tuesday 22nd of October is the Hideaway's 5th birthday. I am inviting the whole island to pop by for a drink between 6pm and 10pm. Probably only a half will show up. You are all invited. No restaurant that night, just free pizz, sausages etc and planters punch (500 litres). A bit of local music too. Who's coming? Nick, can you help out with
the over 80's ?

Re: Hideaway's 5th birthday

Andy,
I would love to be there but unfortunately won't be back until Jan 25th. Any plans for the Super Bowl or know of any?
I know, way too soon to start thinking about Super Bowl, but not too soon for me to start thinking about my next trip to SBH.

Andy!! What a great time for the party,NOT. The island is deserted in Oct.why not have it in Jan. or Feb. when all of your Northern Fans will be in residence.I assume you are talking about the people who started coming in the 80's.I'll drop them a line

Congratulations Andy on your 5th anniversary. I can't be there in October but will be there the last two weeks in November. Can I get a rain check? I've been in your place several times but never had the prevlidge of sharing a vanilla rhum with you. See you in 33 days, but then again whose counting.

Re: Hideaway's 5th birthday

This guy from the 80's sez "Sorry I'll miss it Aso Rock on with your bad self!". Sounds like it'll almost be as big as Le Select's 50th (in about 45 years that is). Have fun and drink one for those who can't make it!

Re: Hideaway's 5th birthday

Congratulations Andy. Last July Libby and I were in your place with our grandson and you gave us excellent service. Yes, your place does live up to your advertisements. The warm beer was great, but we will still come back again in late Feb.

Re: Hideaway's 5th birthday

Andy---Congratulations on 5 years of the Hideaway! We'll be in SB in Feb & will toast your anniversary then. You have many loyal fans and we are among them. We cheered for your Blues Brothers float in the 2002 Carnival parade How are you going to top that in 2003? Our float was the St Bart's Bobsled Team (after all, why should Jamaica have the only Caribbean bobsled team?) but we couldn't come close to your Blues Bros look-a-like musicians. The Hideaway rules!

Andy -- We wanted to extend our congratulations as well. Five years in the restaurant business is a real accomplishment. Time spent in your restaurant is high up on our list of our fondest memories of St. Barths.

Congratulations, Andy!! We're part of the February crew, so we can't make your celebration. But we plan to do plenty of our own when we visit you late Feb.!

Thanks for all the compliments, will probably go broke after the 5th birthday. Will contact Phil Stripling for advice (joke Phil).
Carnival 2003 is already planned, and might top the blues brothers. Loved the SB Bobsleigh Team, remember it well.

Hey Andy! Just returned from our first trip to SB and hit your place twice...so sorry we can't make your celebration but would have congratulated you if we'd known. Loved your pizzas (especially fruit de la mer) and enjoyed people watching! You've got a great place. Our trip was wonderful and we plan to return. Congrat's on 5 years in paradise!!
