Been flying TW post-Covid, but this May, we're switching back to SBC. Not happy, but the tickets were $800+ per person per flight. Above numbers sound similar.

We flew TW from SJU last time in order to cut out a leg of travel coming from Texas (no direct flights from anywhere in Texas to SXM, sadly) but hard to stomach those prices. Our villa for a week in July was less than the $3200 (minimum) @PeterLynn is talking about for two to fly TW to SBH roundtrip. I'll have to take my chances with AA and MIA.

Seems about normal for TW depending on the time of day selected. Some early and late flights are less.

Our 2024 April trip was $100 less than our February 2025 trip for that same route. Pro-tip: if you pick a flight with an Anguilla stop over you can get 5 extra TW rewards points along with a cheaper fare (it has been $300pp less) for the stop over. Bonus you get to crack a beer on the tarmac in Anguilla and hang out for 15-20 minutes with fellow passengers.

We are flying late April with an early May return for $850 roundtrip. As Jim said, some of the early flights are much less. We arrive SJU from the States at 9:00 pm, have booked a room inside the airport and then catch the 6:45 am flight to SBH. That leg is only $350 pp. Our villa is currently available, so it gives us basically another full day in Barths.

we are doing the same in a couple of weeks. in season, that ticket more like $550. returning, have relatively good fare by taking last flight out of SBH at dusk and leaving early thirty next am from SJU.
we studied all sorts of combinations and permutations for DL/AA/TW/SBC/WA and ended up with one-way tickets from DL and AA and RT tickets from TW. a strong preference was given to flying into/out of SJU, but I don't think we paid more in total going thru SJU.
