SXM transit form?

I searched, but couldn’t find an up to date answer. Is there still an online form you need to complete both ways when changing planes ? Thanks.

My current impression—and not for certain—is that some airlines still state the form as required but then is not asked for. A friend traveled through sxm a couple of weeks ago without having filled it out. We arrived yesterday (we did fill out) and no one asked for them. We went through transit so can’t attest to regular immigration. It’s all a bit unclear and seems might be (as some suggested) more for St M tourism info/marketing?

I ran across a web page that says its still in 'Beta'? I asked our team fast tracking us through transit in a few days and he said 'you really do not need it'? But, knowing SXM we submitted it nonetheless. Yes still pretty unclear. Take care all.

When we traveled late February Vincent with Premium IV said we could fill it out if we wanted, but it wasn’t required. I filled out the form online but never received an email or any other correspondence confirming I had done so. (I did take a screenshot of the page saying “thank you for your submission.”) The AA ticket counter in Knoxville asked for confirmation of the form when I checked my bags (apparently there was “something” in their system prompting her to do so) but she ultimately gave up and took my word for it when I had nothing to show her other than the screenshot. Upon arriving in SXM no one asked about it.

Ha, gotta love it! Seemed like the Delta system behaved the same way when we checked in today. Hopefully no snags! Thanks for the input guys.

I guess "beta" means it doesn't work. Vincent said don't need it with his services, but when you open the link and click-on attempting to fill in information it's not functioning at all. Typical SXM.

From PJIA via FB, at about Noon on 4/19:

Notice: The SXM Entry Form website is currently down.
The Government of Sint Maarten and the Tourism Bureau are actively working to restore full functionality and will provide an update as soon as possible.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

My concern wouldn’t be whether or not it is truly need on arrival at SXM, but whether your US airline thinks that it is needed, and potentially denies boarding.

We filled it out when we went to SXM in Feb. No big deal to fill out and I will do it next week when we are in transit to SBH. If nothing else, it was pretty thrilling when it actually worked and was accepted at the airport on entry. I was shocked!

I imagine you’ve hit the nail on the head, Kevin
Vincent says perhaps to fill it out « for peace of mind »
