Greeetings St. Barth friends. Day 3 and only a little sargassum at the 2 beaches we visited. St. Jean is pristine and Gouveneur a bit by the beach entrance.

I was there this morning and thought there was a lot of junk in the water as well as the shore. Quite windy and plenty of waves, not conducive for swimming IMHO.

I was in the water as well this morning. I agree. A lot of buffeting going on. Did not see too much junk on the west end of the beach in the water though. Could be that the wave action was so strong. I tried some body surfing to no avail. However in the Caribbean in St. Barth. Life is good.
 
Report from Saline Monday 5.22. Cheryl & I were on the beach at 8 am. There was Sargassum along the whole beach and some in the water. I could have gone swimming chose not to do so. However it could be gone tomorrow. Not too bad. Off to Flamands tomorrow will report. Come say hello. We rent chairs from Caribe Waterplay St. Jean
