Last Minute Return Trip near the end of April

Reading up on everyone’s posts, restaurant suggestions and activities. We were last on island in July 2022 when there was an awful lot of roadwork. We just finished selling our Maryland home and buying a home in Boca Raton Florida and moving. So we grabbed a chance to come and visit in about 3 weeks. Any updates or newer recommendations are welcome, but basically just happy to be back on the site and planning our trip! Darin and Lucie

We will be there on the 18th of May. Ignore the roadwork that is always around. Enjoy the ambiance, the beaches, the restos and the wonderful people that live and visit our happy place.

The major roadwork in Marigot started again this week with signage advising strong recommendations to go by way of Toiny/Grand Fond rather than Marigot/Camaruche - they say the work will last until November !

Sadly, sounds like bad timing because our departure is about the 23rd (a bit earlier than "end of May"). Of course, "change" is a part of living that we embrace these days! . . . would love to get together - I'd like to stay in touch about dates.
