Alas, it's coming to an end... My three weeks are up, and I'm out tomorrow. It seems to have been so short, and forever, at the same time...

It rained hard most of the night, ending at around 6:30. The sun is now cutting through the cloud cover, creating specular highlights on the water. The dark clouds are giving way to wispy white stretches of cotton. The heavy wind has become a soft breeze.

As much as I'd like to stay, I'm excited about getting home, getting in the darkroom, and trying to make some art worthy of my stay. I've never shot this much film before. I've stopped counting, but it's probably in the neighborhood of 115-120 rolls. It will take weeks to develop it all, and (if all goes well) I'll have enough good images to keep me busy for a year.

As much as I enjoy my time making photographs, my favorite part is spending time with my fellow Junies, both old and new. Their friendship, generosity, caring, and humor makes my stay special. Let's do it again...

It's always good to get home, but so sad to leave such a beautiful place. How many shots are on one of your film rolls Eddie? I will be anxious to see what you create - not sure I would be able to pick and choose as I'm sure they are all breathtaking. Enjoy your last day; I've enjoyed seeing the shots you've displayed here.

Eddie,,, I don't know anything about film development, but I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express a few weeks ago and think that qualifies me to give you a hand.....

And,,, I hope your travel home goes as well as mine did. Miami airport was a ghost town, sailed right through the dreaded Customs and Immagrations. No lines no waiting.

Diane- I have five (not counting the digital) cameras, down here. They all use the same size film. Two will take 8 exposures per roll. One takes 6. One takes 12. The other 16. I probably have 750+ exposures.

Eddie, looking forward to seeing your photos and will think of you at the Manayunk Art Fair tomorrow !

Eddie exposed himself over 750 times while on island............................. did I read that right? :very_drunk:
