How to translate text in an image

Often times we see a post of an photo that contains text we would like to translate. If you have an iPhone -- it may be the same on Android as well -- save the image to your Photos on your iPhone/iPad and then open the photo up and run your finger over the text to select and then hit the Translate option. then scroll down to copy the translation to the clipboard.

Yes, understood. My problem was the only copy of the letter I had was the IG post and for whatever reason it translated unevenly—barely enough to read, not well enough to post. I assumed it had to do with IG and/or my (not new) phone. I couldn’t find a separate copy of the letter and hoped someone else would. Thank you for the translation for all to read.

Let me know what you find! There are many different releases of Android floating around and all may not work the same way.
