My wife and I are going through withdrawal.....for the last seven years this week has been our week to vacation. This year we had to postpone until the last week of July. It's absolute torture to wait, but at least this year we'll have 9 nights instead of 7!

Hang in there. In your heart of hearts you know it is truly worth the wait. Things happen. Events alter our vacation dates and life goes on.

Extra time to think of next year's on island dates and check out available villas, right?

I'm paranoid tooo keep checking the weather report even though I know it means nothing. Really one must look up to know the weather in St. Barts. but so far no swirling large clouds on the horizon. Looks like good weather ahead...

I never look at a forecast either before a trip or while we're there. They mean nothing. Every day on St Barth's is a good day.

We have had only one trip I remember where the weather bummed me out. It rained 3 straight days for a 6 day trip...that was the last trip we went without the kiddos. I also got sick with the flu right after arriving and felt yucky besides. But it was still a great vacation ... rather have a bad day (if you can really call it that) on St. Barts than anywhere else. I remember especially enjoying the vanilla rum on that trip though...
