We have a resident red-tailed hawk on our property. Love hearing him hunt. Squirrel population has dwindled the past several months. Have not seen a field mouse in 2-years, efficient and clever hunter!

We have a cranberry bog down the road where we live. I walk our dogs around it every morning. A few days ago a red tail hawk flew out of a pine tree with a squirrel in its grasp.

Your photos, John, are extraordinary! Do you sit for hours at your camera, waiting for such perfect shots? All are stunning!

I keep the big rig handy and grab it when I see something interesting. I’m very observant of nature outside the window!

A friendly local artist asked for my permission to paint the female cardinal munching on cherry blossoms. I love it!
