A disc jockey, world, and no mask. The Skybar (former Ociela) is the subject of an administrative closure decided by a prefecture decree for having organized a party against the health rules in force. The institution will keep closed for one month, beginning on 6 October. The order was not published in its entirety for reasons of confidentiality. The Skybar will be able to reopen its doors on November 7.

When I was on the island mid-July to mid-September, I witnessed four unannounced visits of gendarmes (may have been territoriale police) to restaurants in which checks were made of employees to see if they were wearing masks. Several patrons also were asked to show their masks (not required when eating / drinking).
