ANXIOUS PEOPLE by Fredrick Backman

i can not remember the last time I chuckled aloud and so enjoyed picking up a book. (Oh yes, it was Paul Reiser's PARENTHOOD book). But I digress. The story unfolds in Sweden as we follow a bank robber who makes his first blunder as he attempts to hold up a cashless bank. He gets away, sans money of course because there was none therein to begin with!

Think Monty Python silly and witty.

Soon he sees an open door across the street and hides in an apartment where he runs into a group of people attending an open house run by a real estate agent for the apartment owners. Then he changes from bank robber to hostage taker and the story continues with this new cast.

Since the world is so upside down and crazy now...to get lost in another yarn by the author of A MAN CALLED OVE is a delight.Have fun! (OOPS, My mistake, the author's name is FREDRIK Backman).
