Best table in our favorite bar on the island. Top 5 all time on my list, along with Harry's in Venice, the old Chumley's in NYC, Froggy's in Pittsburgh and the Buena VIsta in SF.

Many just refer to it as the Starbucks of the island. We don’t go often, but always an early morning stop for eggs and people watching. Still in the same family since 1981. Perhaps they were inspired by the nextdoor neighbors.

we had their chicken wings for dinner last night, hardly a soul in the place, all staff wearing masks and Le Select is closed so it was very quiet in town!

Yep, Le Select is closed. we had wings from Oubli...very good... and I don't know when Le Select is supposed to reopen, it looks like they are doing some work...
 
Somewhere (can't find the reference) it was reported that the garden was being expanded and the bathrooms are being modernized!
