tim used to ride 4 hours around the island on sundays, he would start before daylight, he had one of those lights on his helmet. Tim would normally pass me in grand fond ( that is how we met) while I was on my 2 hour walk. I miss grand fond for walking but with all the construction, I am sticking with saline beach.

Chapeau to all the brave rouleurs riding the Tour this year! Rain today in Nice, and several spills. But what a grand tradition since 1903. Makes you forget about EPO and Covid-19.

I was surprised, but thrilled to see the Tour yesterday on tv thinking it had been cancelled. Have enjoyed watching it for years, the scenery & commentary. Amazing men on bikes. Hope they all stay well tho know crashes already have taken at least one rider out.
