Smiling in Charlottesville, VA while returning my son to college. He loved making his own dinner on the griddle there when he was little...after eating a pizza for an appetizer.

Once upon a time there was a tavern
Where we used to raise a glass or two
Remember how we laughed away the hours
And think of all the great things we would do
Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
For we were young and sure to have our way
La la la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la La la la la la la
Then the busy years went rushing by us
We lost our starry notions on the way
If by chance I'd see you in the tavern
We'd smile at one another and we'd say
Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
Those were the days, oh yes those were the…

Of all the times we had dinner at Andy's, only once did we ever experience Sweet Caroline. Gosh a great memory & so much fun !

smilin' in Boston....many great nights with my 2 sons and wife...our tradition, first and last night at Hideaway for dinner...

A short story...my buddy, Harry, and his wife and son go with us to SB for vacation...she's a shopaholic....in fact, we almost don't make weight on our Tradewinds charter back to San Juan when we leave...anyways, they show up for dinner one night after we tell them about this great low-key place that all the locals go to named the Hideway...they show up for dinner...she throws a hissy fit..."I'm not eating at this dump"...and leaves...they're divorced...the kid gets mixed up in drugs..he's now better...

Morale of story...some people don't get it...SB or the magic...don't need to go to Eden Rock every night...or be on a multi-million $ boat...

In all fairness, aside from those requiring haut de gamme dining on Saint-Barth, Chez Andy was not to everyone’s taste.
