Voyager has to operate under the same passenger restrictions as flights, Medical, Family Reunification, and necessary Professional passengers only. They've been complaining about St Barth Commuter getting preferential treatment to operate 3 flights a week between SBH and SFG, but now that the ferry is an option, it may not be profitable for either to operate given the passenger restrictions in place.

Sint Maarten wants to reopen the border between them and St Martin. That decision will likely require France's OK, not St Martin's. Opening the border introduces a whole new set of complications.

I was wondering the same thing, who will the passengers be? we have French friends who will be taking the Voyager in June to St Martin to grab a cab to Grand Case to fly to Guadeloupe to fly to Paris...
long way around but these are unusual times. their original tickets were from Juliana.
