Though we are sure all will miss the spectacular view above the sea at the former Eden Rock restaurant, the glorious and stylish new version of Sand Bar is exciting yet also relaxing. At this elegant Jean Georges eatery we shared a three humus platter served with pita and cudites. Jim had crusted Mahi Mahi in a lemon reduction sauce, while Dan enjoyed a melt-in-the-mouth Salmon over a bed of various colored carrots. For dessert we both ordered the delicious and light banana souffle, a dessert happily retained from the old Eden Rock menu. We washed down these delectable dishes with an excellent, even reasonably priced Argentinian Malbec. (review by Dan Evans)
