Lunch at Beach Club, Hotel Le Toiny

First time at The Beach Club, it was a beautiful day and a very nice experience. I know it sounds silly to order salmon on SBH since it is obviously not local, but I was craving salmon and ordered it anyway. And, dang if it wasn't some of the best salmon I have ever had. It was perfectly cooked in a wonderful caper/lemon sauce - sounds simple, but the execution was flawless. Mon mari had the tuna tartar and was equally happy. We shared a bottle of Minuty Rose et Or (one of my personal favorite rosés) and shared the pop choux for dessert. I saw a cute sun dress during the obligatory fashion show, and stopped by the gift shop on the way out and purchased it without knowing the price first. Let's just blame that one on too much wine and say that I won't do that again! I am now the proud owner of a very -ahem- nice sun dress!

All in all it was a great experience, and we will return.

I also enjoyed the salmon flown In from the Faroe Islands..think Scotland geographically speaking. We too enjoyed our time there.
