Since I am starting this thread, I am taking the most obvious reason out of play. The overall ambience. One rule. Try to limit it to One Reason and let everyone play and see where this goes. Andy I know I broke my one rule. Thanks
 
I like the way St Barth makes me feel. Now, the "what/where/who" that brings the euphoria can not be condensed into just one.
 
the overall feeling of safety....you can travel the island at anytime...day or night...and not worry...

Coming across the col in the little plane, passing into the widening valley with cars descending on the right, landing on the savanna with the beach in front of you, feels like the point in The Wizard of Oz when B/W becomes color. You are now in the Land of Oz.
