The German House by Annette Hess

    Just as Amy reported about
her book concerning Auschwitz, I have had similar feelings. I have read so many books about WWII and concentration camps and the horrors of war. I just cannot read another one right now and yet... A first novel by a talented writer -how can I resist?! The setting is Germany after the war. The book jacket lays out the following tantalizing statement:If everything your family told you was a lie, how far would you go to uncover the truth? I wont say more-the truth is exposed as one unpeels layers. This is a new perspective on the aftermath of the war and the Holocaust. If you are intrigued, you will not be disappointed.

I can't seem to get out of Paris in my reading. I'm now onto "THE GIRL WHO READS ON THE METRO" by Christine Feret-Fleury. Up next on my shelf is "THE PARIS SEAMSTRESS" by Natasha Lester. Both are audio books, by the way.
