As we know, Baldacci is a prolific writer. This is a second installment of his Atlee Pine series. She is a tough woman living in a small town out west working for the FBI. In this novel she is in search of understanding her origins as well as solving an unusual series of murders. Without giving anything away, by book end she is able to solve much of one of the mysteries. But like Patterson’s Cross Cross- ‘to be continued.’
