Date and time of the next bulletin: Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 17h local.

End of the estimated event: Thursday at the end of the day
Current situation
At 5 am this morning, tropical storm SÉBASTIEN was more than 500 kilometers north-east of Saint-Martin. The cyclonic phenomenon continues its course towards the North-East at an average speed of between 10 and 15 kilometers per hour.
Forecasts
- Precipitation: Low risk of being affected again by rainfall on the sidelines of Sébastien today. However, if these showers reach us, they retain a sustained character and may be accompanied by thunderclaps. As the hours go by this rainy-stormy risk diminishes and should become zero at the end of the day or this night from Thursday to Friday.
- Sea: Sébastien generates a cyclonic swell from North-East to North North-East on our Regions, with average troughs of about 2 meters during the day, 2m to 2m50 this night from Thursday to Friday. To this swell generated hundreds of kilometers comes to add the agitation of the sea caused by the unusual winds of West sector, also caused by Sebastian.
Including the coast of the harbor of Gustavia, the bustle of the sea is therefore associated with an unusual sea of wind West (southwest to northwest) still today that can make the sea choppy and unmanageable. Moorings of the boats can be solicited.
At night, the wind shifts to the north and the agitation caused by the sea from the west wind gradually fades.
