Strout writes beautifully. I think I have read about 6 of her books-all terrific and prize worthy or nominated and prize winning stories.
 
Read “Olive Kitteridge” first! Just my advice so you can get the setting, Maine, and the characters in your memory. OLIVE, AGAIN was worth the wait.
